We woke up at 6:40 today and wanted to hike on the inside of the rim that started at 8:00, sadly we missed the bus, but we got to climb in it anyway just not with a group. The hike that we took was a steep descent into the Canyon called Hermit’s Rest. The hike down into the pit seemed short and easy, but on the way up the hike seemed two times as long as the way down which was kinda annoying, but we all had fun through the pain. Haha
We also stopped at a few points at the top of Grand Canyon to get different views of the body of the Canyon, the names of the points are; Powell Point, Majave Point, and Aspen Point. They all had wonderful views and I was so happy that we took the time to get to them!
And tonight we are going to have a other campfire and Marshmallows, Yummie! But another day is coming, so see you then.
