It took a while to get packed up today, much longer than we thought it would take anyway. But after an hour and a half of packing up all of camp we have to say good-bye to the Canyon we’ve embraced and loved for 3 whole days… * tears *. Looking out my window I see parts of the huge pit disappearing, I makes me so sad to even think of it.
Now we’ll be driving for about 6 hours to get to Las Vegas!! So now were listening to music and relaxing. :)
Before reaching Vegas, we stopped at the famous Hoover Dam to take pictures and look at all the neat stuff there. We also saw this really cool movie that told us a lot about the history of the Hoover Dam, but before we got into the movie we had to get tickets and the people giving them out kept saying “Here are your dam tickets,” my Mom just about killed the guy that said it to her first then she realized that it was okay to say that here…. Haha I just about died at her response to him.
