Today we have taken a short hike that is called Norris Basin, named after the man that found it in 1877. Which led us to these beautiful blue pools, with each one having a different name, but the second I saw them I thought of Brucie Ebersole’s eyes. Oh they we’re so lovely, and they’re main ingredient was Silica, which is the main ingredient in glass. My fav pool was named Glassy Spring, and that was the one that looked most like Brucie’s eyes.
The other pools had rusty looks to them, and some green and others yellow. Hot springs were everywhere and I was happy I was not the person that had to make the boards that you had to walk on to stay out of the pot wholes and hot springs.
Got to talk to my dad on the phone, then again we will be moving to a new camp sight, I haven’t gotten to tell you about this but we’ve been switching camp sights every single day that we’ve been in Yellowstone, Wyoming. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll be able to stay in the same one for a day or 2…
We also saw a grizzly bear and two cubs!! they were so cute :)
For dinner we will have pasta with parma rosa sauce, that’s good stuff! :)
